Recently ranked by Pacific Business News as Hawai‘i’s fourth largest marketing agency with capitalized billings of $20 million for 2006, Harris continues to add to categories to their portfolio.

“It is always a great feather in the cap when selected amongst Hawaii’s best PR firms by a business veteran like Denny Watts for representation encompassing the Pacific Rim,” said President and CEO, Doug Harris.

According to Watts Constructors CEO, Denny Watts, “Harris has a great reputation and brings an experienced talented team to the table. We also appreciate the accessibility and hands-on approach of their top executives.”

In 2006, WATTS Constructors merged with The Weitz Company of Des Moines, Iowa, one of the nation’s oldest and largest construction companies with anticipated revenues approaching $1.5 billion in 2007.  WATTS Constructors has offices in Novato, California; Gig Harbor, Washington; Jacksonville, Florida; Dededo, Guam; and Honolulu, Hawai‘i.  The company is employee owned and currently has 250 employees working in six different states and territories.

Doug Harris founded Harris  in May of 2004, after spinning out of a five year partnership with McNeil Wilson Communications. Harris set up in a small two-office studio/four person shop in vacated AdWorks space while the former ad agency was downsizing. They relocated in 2005 to occupy 4,500 square feet in the Pacific Business News Building in Waikīkī.

Harris currently employs 23 full time professionals and their client list includes: Bella Pietra, Burger King, go!, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, Hilo Hattie, KFC, KTA Superstores, Pacific Craftworks and Pacific LightNet.
Harris offers its clients full-service advertising, public relations and e-commerce services, with marketing consultancy fees for research, analysis, and strategic brand development accounting for nearly one third of its annual revenue.
