Kathleen Herbst, Media Director
Kathleen brings a double punch with her ability to deliver the numbers within defined budgets while leveraging the value-added opportunities of partnerships and events.
Graduating from accounting in 1998, Kathleen began her media career at Laird Christianson Advertising as a Buyer, quickly moving up the ranks to become a Senior Media Planner. In 2004 she accepted the position of Media Director at PCF Virtual, overseeing all media and research for agency accounts, as well as supervising and training their younger personnel.
In 2006, she took the position as the Marketing Manager for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin/MidWeek, where she developed and managed all aspects of the marketing for both newspapers including supervising the trade and event partnerships.
Her relevant retail, travel and tourism Media experience includes: KFC, Kraft Foods, Ala Moana Hotel, Marriott Hotels and Marriott Vacation Club, Subway, Coldwell Banker, City Bank, Shopping Centers and Hilo Hattie ( Hawai’i’s largest retailer).
Kathleen also serves on the Board of Directors for the Hawai’i Advertising Federation as their Chairman of Programs.
